Life in this world is changing consistently and there’s a great demand for new technology that would make the information available at each one’s comfort and at required place.. A new technique for turning sound into electricity that allows re-charging Phones the power of the human voice. When we are in important conversation with any official on mobile, then if our battery gets flattened, our works get disturbed. But by using this technology called “VOICE USAGE TO CHARGE MOBILES” there is no possibility of flattening of the battery.
INTRODUCTION:
Sound pollution is a great disadvantage that we come across our daily life.. By using this technology we can convert this great disadvantage to our use.
PRINCIPLE:
This technology works on the principle of piezoelectric phenomenon.
(Conversion of mechanical energy into electrical energy)
PROCESS:
Sound waves are given as input and we get electrical energy as output. The generated electrical energy charges the battery.
WORKING:
The technology uses tiny strands of zinc oxide sandwiched between two electrodes. A sound absorbing pad is placed on the top of the sandwiched zinc oxide electrodes. Sound absorbing pad on top vibrates when sound waves generated, hit the sound absorbing pad. This results in the tiny zinc oxide wires to compress and release.
The compressions and rare fractions are due to the sensitivity of the Zno. A nanogenerator is placed between the sandwiched zinc oxide electrodes. The compressions and rarefractions are given to the nanogenerator. The nanogenerator converts the given mechanical energy into electrical energy. The generated electrical energy is used to charge the battery.
Components used in this technology:
Sound absorbing pads:
The sound absorbing plates used in this technology are made up of piezoelectric materials. These are placed on top of two sandwiched Zn electrodes.
Features of sound absorbing plates
- Environment-friendly
- Shock resistant
- Sound absorption
- Moisture proof
- Heat insulation, acid-base resistant
Environment friendly means they do not cause any harm to the environment.
If we get large amount of electrical energy as output then we do not feel any external shock or injury.
These plates have high sound absorption capacity.
They do not get any damage even if they fall in water.
They are resistant to acids, bases and heat.
Zn electrodes:
These electrodes contains nano generator between them these electrodes vibrate when sound waves hit on it compressions and rare fractions are occurred these are given to the nano generator which is placed between them
Nano- generator:
It contains nano wires and it produces 4watts/m3 power per each nano wire it converts mechanical energy into electrical energy.
Advantages:
- The mobiles can be charged not only by using our voice but also by employing background noise and music.
- Environmental noise like traffic, noise from trains, constructional noise can also be used to charge the battery.
- Music at concerts can also be used to charge the battery.
- Noise generated by walk can also be used to charge the mobile battery.
- By using industrial noise also we can charge the mobile battery.
- Noise from clubs also useful for charging purpose.
- The sound generated in the musical programs conducted in any occasions can also be useful.
Applications:
- Military purpose: This technology is used for “military purpose”. Generally soldiers go to different places and even some times they don’t know where they go, at that time. If they got any secret information about their rivals, it is necessary to pass the information to their superiors. Then there might be the problem of low battery. this technology is more helpful for them,
- Unavailability of switch boards: This technology is useful where there is no availability of switch boards like beach, forests. When your family is on excursion then this technology is useful.
CONCLUSION:
We are vexed up with the normally
Used lithium ion, cadmium batteries. Voice usage to charge mobile phones creates a new era with cleanly environment along with saving energy.
