Safety Car Parking System
ABSTRACT:
Now a day’s purchasing a car is not big deal, it’s all about finding a space in metropolitan cities for car parking. The problem exists when each driver need to pay to enter a parking structure and valuable time is consumed to search for a parking space. This will end up with frustration among the drivers. In making the parking management system more efficient, choosing the right detection system is very important. Types of sensor used for detection in a parking system play a vital role because without its information on the car park occupancy cannot be produced. 
So our project deals with not  only providing a sophisticated car parking space but also providing safety measures for car parking. Factors which we were considering are space allocation, alarming action (in case force full interruption), programmatic gate controlling, user information, and other functional aspects.

BLOCK DIAGRAM DESCRIPTION:
In our project our main theme of safety car parking is distributed in two main streams via microcontroller based and computer based streams.

MICROCONTROLLER TASK:
In section A we give briefly introduction about microcontroller task as shown in the Fig 1.
Microcontroller task perform the following function there are gate controlling mechanism, time monitoring, IR sensors triggering. Billing action, capacity monitoring mechanism. These above tasks are managed by microcontroller.
1) GATE CONTROLLING MECHANISM:
It is used to allow the car to enter into parking space and exit from parking lot.
2) CAPACITY MONITORING:
In this feature check whether the slot is available or not. If slot is available car is allowed to enter the parking lot otherwise no space is available for car parking so car have move on.
3) IR SENSORS TRIGGERING: 
This feature used to provide alarm function space allocated indication and timing action.
4) TIME MONITORING:
This feature used to recording the entry time and exit time from car slot by using IR sensor.
5) BILLING ACTION:
This feature works based on time monitoring and IR sensors mechanism, billing action of parked car will be carried out.

COMPUTER MONITORING TASK:
In section B we give brief introduction about computer monitoring task as shown in the Fig 2
Computer monitoring task perform the following function there are CAR number scanning, slot monitoring, token passing, driver identification.
1) CAR NUMBER SCANNING:
This feature scans the car number which was going to be parked in our parking lot. The exit of the car depends on matching of car number which is scanned during the entry process. 
2) SLOT MONITORING:
In this feature a schematic plan of our parking lot will be there which is used to show the available slot and which car is parked in which slot using car number scanning.
3) DRIVER IDENTIFICATION:
In this feature drivers have to provide identification card before parking the car in our parking lot.
4) TOKEN PASSING:
In this feature before the entry of car inside the parking lot have to give a token which contain identification number and slot number.

COMPONENTS USED:

4. Stepper motor.
5. Webcam.

1. Embedded C.
2. Keil Compiler.
3. Flash Magic.
4. MATLAB.
5. Visual Basic.

ADVANTAGES:
1) Efficiency
Car parking system provides car parking solutions.
2) Cost effective
Car parking System improves financial viability of commercial and residential developments.
3) Saves Time
      Car Parking System reduces parking and retrieval time. 
4) Car Safety
Car Parking System provides improved security, safety for the cars. Cars parked are free from theft and damages that can be caused while parking and retrieving. 

DISADVANTAGES:
1) Maintenance of car parking lot needs lot of attention.
2) Parking angle consideration is a difficult task to design.
